Privacy Policy
The short version
- No account, no analytics, no ads, no tracking.
- Kayoon Studio has no servers for Hagi and never receives your data.
- Your feedback and settings stay on your devices and in your own iCloud.
- To get forecasts, Hagi asks Open-Meteo about the city you picked.
Who we are
Hagi is made by Kayoon Studio. This policy covers the Hagi app for iPhone, its widgets, and this website.
What Hagi keeps, and where
| What | Why | Where it lives |
|---|---|---|
| Your home city | To fetch the forecast and show the right local day. | On your device, and in your iCloud if sync is on. |
| Your wardrobe picks and day settings | So Hagi only suggests clothes you own, for the hours you’re out. | On your device, and in your iCloud if sync is on. |
| Your feedback (“I’m cold”, check-in answers) | To learn how warm you like to be dressed. | On your device, and in your iCloud if sync is on. |
| Forecasts and notification times | To show today’s outfit offline and in widgets, and to schedule reminders. | On your device only. |
Sync uses Apple’s iCloud key-value storage, tied to your Apple Account. Apple stores this data under its own privacy policy; Kayoon Studio can’t see it.
What leaves your device
Hagi connects to one service, Open-Meteo, a free weather API:
- When you search for a city, the name you type is sent to Open-Meteo’s geocoding service.
- To fetch forecasts, your chosen city’s coordinates are sent to Open-Meteo’s forecast service.
Like any web request, these reach Open-Meteo with your device’s IP address. They don’t include your name, your feedback, or any identifier from Hagi. See Open-Meteo’s privacy terms.
What Hagi doesn’t do
- It doesn’t ask for your location. You choose a city.
- It has no account, sign-in, or user profile.
- It contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs, and doesn’t track you across apps or websites.
- Notifications are scheduled on your iPhone. There’s no push server.
- Nothing is sold or shared with anyone.
If you opt in to sharing analytics with developers in your iPhone’s settings, Apple may share anonymous crash reports with us. You control this in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.
Your control
- Change your city, wardrobe and notifications in the app at any time.
- “Reset calibration” in How you run makes Hagi start learning from scratch.
- “Erase all data” in Settings removes your data from that device and from iCloud. Erase each device that has Hagi, or one that still has the data syncs it back.
- Deleting the app removes its data from that device.
- Data synced to iCloud stays in your Apple Account, which you manage with Apple.
Because we never receive your data, there’s nothing for us to export or delete on our side. If you have a question about your data, write to us and we’ll help.
This website
This site is hosted on GitHub Pages and loads fonts from Google Fonts. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics. GitHub and Google may log standard request data such as your IP address.
Children
Hagi isn’t directed at children under 13, and it doesn’t knowingly collect information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we’ll update the date above and mention it in the app’s release notes.
